With more than 20 years of content experience, award-winning writer/editor Michelle Lee is the Editor in Chief of Allure.

She is in charge of the voice, vision, and execution of Allure editorial across all print and digital platforms, as well as design and photography, for the iconic media brand.

Lee was previously the Editor in Chief and Chief Marketing Officer at NYLON. While there, she expanded the scope of the 16-year-old brand aimed at millennial women, doubling beauty coverage and adding new topics of interest, including food, travel, and lifestyle.

In 2015, she was promoted twice at NYLON—first to Head of Brand Strategy and then to CMO—putting her in charge of ideation and execution of native advertising, as well as editorial. In that role, she worked on large 360-degree campaigns for global fashion, beauty, and tech brands (including Reebok, Clinique, and Tiffany) and launched

NYLON Studio, the company's in-house creative agency.

Prior to those positions, she was the Chief Content and Strategy Officer at Magnified Media, a full-service brand publishing agency and custom publisher for digital and print. Lee, who was featured as a "Thought Leader" by Google in a 2013 series on digital video in the future, has launched brands and digital projects, both big and small.

Part of the launch teams for Us Weekly and The Daily Front Row, and former Editor in Chief of In Touch Weekly and intouchweekly.com, Lee also helped to launch CosmoGIRL, which won AdWeek's Launch of the Year. She went on to senior positions at Mademoiselle and the ASME Award-winning Glamour.
